How It Works

Our Process

  1. 1

    Visual & equipment inspection

We walk the pool, equipment pad, and surrounding deck to rule out the obvious — autofill failures, splash-out, plumbing drips at the pad.

  2. 2

    Pressure test plumbing lines

Each suction and return line is isolated and pressurized. A line that loses pressure tells us exactly which run is leaking.

  3. 3

Dye & acoustic testing in the shell

In the water we use dye and electronic listening devices to pinpoint cracks, bad fittings, light niches, and skimmer separations.

  4. 4

    Written findings & next steps

You get a clear explanation of what we found, where, and what it takes to fix — no upsell, no scare tactics.

FAQ

Common Questions

How do I know if my pool actually has a leak?

Run a bucket test. Fill the pool to the middle of the waterline tile and mark it with tape, then place a 5-gallon bucket filled to the top on the top step. Run the pool normally for 24 to 48 hours with water features off. If the pool dropped more than the bucket, you almost certainly have a leak.

Will you have to break my deck or pool?

No. Our job is to find the leak first. Detection is non-invasive — repair, if it requires opening anything, is only done after we confirm the exact location and you approve.

How long does leak detection take?

Most pools are diagnosed in one visit, typically 1–2 hours depending on size and how many leaks are present.
